Here's a story.   I've been using a pair of Sony MDREX38IP for a few years now. I'm on my third pair. First went through the washing machine, second got the wires ripped out, and the third is in my pocket. These aren't great, or expensive. 40 bucks at best buy w/ the iPhone controls on them...

This cable is .189 inches (4.8006mm)    Would the 1/8th inch (3.5mm) techflex fit over this? That sounds stupid; but I know that braided stuff like that can expand a little bit. Anyone have experience with this?      Thanks, AA

Dug out a pair of HD280 Pro's from under the bed. I like them, but the cable is heavy and annoying. I'd like to replace it.    I was going to get some Mogami Quad cable and a good connector from double helix. Are these decent choices?
