hey thread,   any reason not to go with a Magni 2 Uber/Modi Multibit stack to power the headphones listed in my sig?

Just extend the pads all the way down when you store them on the stand. I have 4 of those stands and that is what I do. Especially with my LCD-2's.

I use that Casebudi for all of my larger headphones and it works great.  Would go XXL for the 400i as they are pretty snug in the XL.

I actually want to get some "fashion" cans like the B&W P7 or the M&D MH40's. Need something closed, easy to drive and not too large. Oppo PM-3 is an option too.   Thoughts? (I know this is a 400i thread)   Loving the Hifiman's so far. Opeth sounds incredible on them.

Thanks mate I will one day own one of those Senns again. I kind of like the all in one route of the Jotunheim, plus it has power to drive just about anything. 

getting my HE-400i tomorrow.   How is that Jotunheim with the Hifimans?   I am looking for a do it all DAC/amp to power the cans in my sig.

Just got these headphones and using an OriGen+ to power them and so far so good. Great sound for the $60 spent. Might grab another pair for my girl's kid (gaming)

Just got a Q Cable for my LCD-2 Fazors and love it so far. Seems to make the soundstage more open.  Paired with a Micca OriGen+ DAC/amp How much of a difference will adding a Schiit Jotunheim DAC/amp to replace the OriGen make?

thanks for the amp recommendations guys   Got my LCD-2's in Shedua yesterday. Running them out of a Marantz SA-8003 SACD player headphone out and so far they are incredible.  I know these are known for bass but the mids impress me the most. Just very clean, clear and lush with male vocals so...

New to the thread but a long time member here.   I am getting a new set of the LCD-2 Fazor editions this Thursday and was wondering if anyone is pairing Schiit equipment with their LCD-2's?? Thinking the new Jotunheim or a Schiit Magni/Modi Uber stack.    Or can you recommend a low cost DAC...

Can this pairing drive 600 Ohm Beyers or is that just too much?   TIA

sorry I did not specify. I replaced with an original OEM Shure cable. I use my Shures daily on a commute so I would worry if I used higher end cables.
