The mids may not stack up to T50RPs but hey, the bass and highs are sweet and sharp. Just got mine, LOVING THEM.

I liked Nero, just wasn't wubby enough.   I like skrillex I guess, but I want the wubbiest, bassiest dubstep album you have.

If you can find them for a good price, Denon D2000s. They may have a little too much bass for you, but who knows.

A friend of mine has SRH440s and wants to improve the bass. Would be getting 840 pad's be best?   edit: he uses them un amped

Just ordered a pair of Denon D2000s, I was wonder... what am I in for with these? I currently use Beats Studio (I know, they were a gift) and to me they sound good. But that is because I've never heard real audiophile headphones. I am also interested in the T50RPs at stock.    

Can I Thunderpants them myself?

Actaully, I was thinking that the leakage from the 650s would be a problem. I am also going to buy a 200 dollar tube amp as well. I feel like the D2000s are more reference headphones.   I mostly listen to everything and a little bit of gaming.   My source is 80% my Macbook Pro, 10%...

Getting 650s soon. Later on I will get DT990s and AKG701s.   I have $200 to spend on an amp which I mostly will use for music from my Macbook Pro and iPhone. I'm not sure if I should buy a portable amp for both or just a desktop tube amp for my macbook and then deal with hd650s + iPhone for...

I also saw AKG702s for good price... are those better than 650s?
