Art Tube MP as an amp????

Hello all - I have a stupid question, because I really don't understand a lot about amps in general - I have a mic pre-amp, the Art Tube MP:   http://artproaudio.com/art_products/signal_processing/signal_channel_tube_preamps/product/tube_mp-original/   Could this be used as a headphone amp...

Looking for bluetooth headphones for the gym

Thanks for the info!  I'm not sure about the Jaybirds, only because I'm really not a big fan of in-ear headphones in general, and I am also not sure about the controls being on the cord, which rests on your neck.  I'm used to the Sonys, which have the controls on the earpiece.  I am looking into...

Thanks for the response! I would say $200 is my ceiling, but I'm not against paying much less if it's worth it!

Looking for bluetooth headphones for the gym

Hello,   I've spent countless hours trying to figure out the best bluetooth headphones for the gym.  I recognize that the sound quality for bluetooth headphones isn't going to be great but I am looking for ones with good sound quality.  I prefer bass, recessed mids and highs, and a decent...

    Album of the Year Thread

Quote:   Could you make a suggestion on which Swans album to start on?  I just found out about them the other day after reading Rolling Stone's list of the best of 2012, and so far have heard just 3 songs from Soundcloud, all from The Seer... One of them, the 23-minute "The Apostate," was...

    Some good Space-Rock recommendations?

If you like Amplifier, check out Oceansize - their lead singer does some backup vox on The Octopus.  Their entire catalog is fantastic, as well.

    Flawless albums

Quote: I don't know if that qualifies, since there's a 100% guarantee that there aren't going to be any "Maxwell's Silver Hammers" or "Revolution 9s" on there... Easy to make a flawless album out of the best of your catalog!  Just sayin'...

    Any Smashing Pumpkins fans here?

Quote: Get Pisces Iscariot.  Despite being just B-sides from the Gish/Siamese Dream era, it's better than a lot of bands' actual albums.  FYI, James Iha sings on "Take Me Down," which will hopefully quell the Big Bird Pumpkin rumors

    Any Smashing Pumpkins fans here?

I got into them late - I started really loving them in 1997, my junior year of high school.  Up to that point, I pretty much hated everything that I had heard on MTV (couldn't stand Corgan's voice), and didn't have any interest in them.  Then, one day as I was playing Secret of Mana on SNES...
