Yes. I joined because they were opening a new members room in Glasgow. It opened the week before the lockdown! However, the whisky is good. They have started doing gin and brandy. I'd like to see them bottling US whiskey too.

Me personally? I run my pc into an Audiolab M-DAC with aftermarket power supply, then through my Cyrus Straightline->Densen B300->Shahinian Arcs The M-DAC has a 1/4" headphone input, so I use an adapter. Makes me happy. Good luck with your search.

Woodford Reserve is my go-to, including making long drinks with it - I like it with ginger ale. However, it's more like £30 over here so $40-45? That's the Tax man for you. I have a bottle of Rowan's Creek and keep my Four Roses for special occasions.

Haven't listened to mine in ages. Current workhorses are my K64 for use with my phone streaming from bandcamp at lunchtime, my Pandas for sleepy time tunes via my X5ii.

Thanks, useful info. Although I use a separate balanced amp with the X5ii in conjunction with my balanced earbuds when I'm away from home, I also use the player at home (without the amp) and the balanced option is attractive to make the most of my better quality buds.

Thanks both of you. I'm cooling off now. I might get one in the future, but right now, with a fully serviceable X5ii, I don't think I need a very minor sound upgrade. I'll spend my money on a couple of bigger cards, my 256Gb cards are full now.
