Hey all, I'm currently using a fiio e7 and its just a little over a year and a half old.  I've been having a few issues with quite a lot of static coming from the right ear of my Sennheiser HD 598's.  It has been going on for a few months now and I am pretty sure there is nothing that I can do...

I bought these headphones last August and I think that they are amazing but I am starting to get some cracking in the leather padding on the top of the headphone. Here's a pic...btw I have not been putting these headphones through any abuse, just happened on its own I guess.      

I need some help because I'm getting a fair amount of static through my Fiio e7. Its mainly coming out of the right ear of the headphones and I'm not sure what to do or what can be done about it. Any ideas?
