That's my concern. He6 needs amp that truly has enough power reserve to really sings. To compensate power deficit with too much gain is not the best option. So I would like to know that standard version of M11 (normal gain setting) can drive He6 properly or not.

@ doyouknowSBmean   Have you ever compared He6 VS He1000 on Master 11?  How much better He1000/M11 to He6/M11 paring?   Has Master11 enough power to push He6 to the max capability?   Thanks.

I'm now using Solv-X with my he6 and I absolutely love this pairing. But still wonder whether Arcane is better than Solv-x. Any update would be appreciate.;)

Congratulation! I also ordered SolvX around last Christmas and still wait...patiently. Trevor could have been extremely busy because he didn't response my last 3 Email.

From my experience, the adequate amp for He6 can deliver all frequency even at moderately loud of volume. But under power amp can't so I have to increase the volume up in order to hear something that is missing....end up clipping. So I think the volume position can help determine the reserved...

Thanks Paulo. At the beginning I afraid of heat accumulation if it's always power on, my country's weather is mostly hot.  But after I stay switch on for 2 days...no heat at all...it's the coolest amp I have ever used, the cases are cold to touch...not even warm.  Toby told me this amp is not...

Yes, this is a custom job.  At the beginning I email to Gilbert about amp for He6 after that Toby is the man who discuss with me in detail (for example shallco attenuator, the position of input/output).  It took 2 Months to arrive.

Breaking News CTAG was born! This morning came the big box from Bluecircle, 44 lbs in weight. There are 3 tears at the box..(no..o..o..) but Bluecircle's guys wrapped around the CTAG with a very thick foam cushions, giving no chance to be damaged during shipping. No blamish anywhere to the CTAG...

Mine has no build in DAC, have only headphone amp with separate gigantic power supply which is the key for the hardest to drive He6.  Supposed to have input:RCA, XLR and output: 4pinXLR, 6.3mm. One Alps volume control.   Let's hope that there's no delay.

One aspect I'm not sure about PS1000 is grain.  When compare to LCD-X, PS1000 has more grain.  I don't know whether it's becuase PS1000 is more resolving (LCD-X may gross over?) or it's because PS1000 actually has more grain.   No reviewer comment to this aspect yet.   I would like to read...

From headphone output of MHA100 is definite not enough power for Abyss and He6, but what about direct connection to speaker tabs output.  Have you ever tried connecting Abyss or He6 to speaker tabs of MHA100?   Thanks

Thanks mikemercer for sharing your experience.   But I'm still waiting for someone that has experience with Abyss AB1266 and He6 on MHA100.  These two headphones are the most difficult to drive.  I'm wonder if MHA100 has enough power to drive Abyss or He6 to it's full potential.   For LCD-X...
