If you don't take, try to use something to separate the wires. It didn't happen to me when I replaced the jack on my old headphones, but basically you just want to avoid wires touching.   Quote:

My SR60i's are never EQ'd. I listen to a ton of pop, and the Grado signature is amazing for that.

"Pleasure" is pretty subjective and you'll have to figure out what kind of sound signature you prefer. If that's flat, then find flat phones, if you like forward highs, look for Grados, etc.
