Hello all, I am looking for grey filters for my Audeo earphones and haven't had any luck locating them. If any of you know of a place that sells them, or have a stash they are willing to sell, please let me know. Thanks, Ajay- ajayrav

NuForce DDA-100 impressions thread (computer, but not headphone, DAC/amp)
I've been listening to my DDA 100 for about a week and I am SO impressed. There was a break-in period and it takes about a week of continuous playing for the amp to come into song...and boy, does it ever. My purpose was to find a small form-factor amplifier for my living room. My source is an...- ajayrav

New Marantz SA-8004
One weird thing about the Marantz is that it seems to have a problem with the digital outs of a DirecTV HD-DVR, HR22 if you are interested in the model number. There is an intermittent chirping sound when using either Toslink or spdif. Digital outs from the HR22 into an older Marantz receiver...- ajayrav

Refurbished Monster Turbines
I have to say that I am REALLY impressed with these IEMs. Never in a million years did I think I would have something positive to say about a Monster product, but I am really blown away by these. Super spacious, clear and balanced. Just wow....and at the Monster online outlet price, it is a...- ajayrav

Refurbished Monster Turbines
I just bought a pair of refurbished Monster turbines from Monster's online outlet store. What I wanted was an upgrade from my Sennheiser CX400 phones. These are to be used exclusively with my 6th gen ipod nano with 128k files and exclusively while traveling and working out. I have a pair of...- ajayrav

New Marantz SA-8004
Quote: And it should. It is a really nice unit that is getting little press. It really blows the Cambridge Audio DacMagic (much loved by the Hifi press) away when used as a DAC. Is it as good as my Bolder modded Eastern Electric MiniMax DAC? No, but the DAC + Mods are in the $1600...- ajayrav

New Marantz SA-8004
Yeah, I wondered a lot about the NA7004 as well. While I believe it uses the same DAC, the SA8004 steps up to a toroidal transformer. It will be curious to see what the similarities between the two are, SQ wise. I'm currently using mine through a Marantz PM8004 integrated with Definitive Tech...- ajayrav

New Marantz SA-8004
I just received a Marantz SA8004 for my bedroom system. This replaces a Cambridge Audio DAC Magic I was less than impressed with. Plus it brings a CD/ SACD player to the mix. I connected my Bolder modded Squeezebox Touch with a linear power supply to it using the coaxial connection and at...- ajayrav
