The Deals DISCUSSION Thread (READ THE FIRST POST!!!)
Not dealers. Razordog. And if you look at everything on their site, they all say "everyday low price", even when the price is slashed through. Go check out the HD700 page. I agree with the other guy, Hifiman is definitely having every retailer that stocks their product discount it for Black...- seniorfuzzy

Looking for help choosing between Pro 900s, D2000/5000s, or ESW9A
Actually, would that be the better investment? Or would the D5ks unamped (temporarily, give or take a month or two) be a better choice? Disregarding portability and the like, just in terms of what I'm getting.- seniorfuzzy

Looking for help choosing between Pro 900s, D2000/5000s, or ESW9A
I'm good with my TF10s for IEMs. Right now my budget is ~$500 and I can't find the D5ks for less than 400 atm, so I'll probably just go with the ESW9As and invest in the E7/E9 amps. First chance I get though, I'm definitely gonna get a hold of some D5ks. Seriously regretting missing that sale...- seniorfuzzy

Looking for help choosing between Pro 900s, D2000/5000s, or ESW9A
Thanks for the quick response! I'm guessing the D5ks would be a better all-around headphone. Do you think they'd leak more than the ESWs though? I'm going to be using them in plenty of places where it'd be bothersome if it leaked too bad and knowing how Denons usually are, I'm not sure I should...- seniorfuzzy

Looking for help choosing between Pro 900s, D2000/5000s, or ESW9A
Title says it all. This is my first major set of headphones. My only other sets so far worth noting are a pair of HD25-1 IIs and TF10s. I primarily listen to JPop, but listen often enough to Electronica, Dubstep, and Jazz, as well as the occasional rock and pop songs. The Pro 900s, from what...- seniorfuzzy

$350 to spend. Ultrasone Pro 900 or Sennheiser HD650?
Quote: How would the D5000s stack up in terms of vocals? Found a new pair for around the same price as the Pro 900s, bass isnt as much a priority, but if they have a much more brought out midrange I'd probably prefer those- seniorfuzzy

$350 to spend. Ultrasone Pro 900 or Sennheiser HD650?
Gonna threadjack this with the same question, different scenario. I'm looking into the same two options, but I'll be buying a fiio e7/9 combo with a macbook and a fuze as my primary sources. As is, I'm using both TF10s and HD25 1-iis. I primarily listen to Jpop, Animusic, etc in that range, as...- seniorfuzzy

Help me pick my first Custom IEM?
Title says it all. I've decided to get myself a pair of customs, and I would really appreciate some recommendations. My budget is around $400 tops. I'm like the sound of my MTHPs, so anything that sounds similar (but better) takes precedence.- seniorfuzzy

A little appreciation for Monster's Customer Support
Yeah my original pair, which I got from Amazon around Christmas brand new, had a straight connector, but the new ones have an L jack. Its a lot roomier, I think it may be like the new model or something. It may be just me, but I think the cable is a bit shorter than the old one. Actually, yeah...- seniorfuzzy

A little appreciation for Monster's Customer Support
I just wanted to say that Monster deserves more credit than it gets for its Customer support. About two weeks ago Sunday, my cat got a hold of my Monster Turbine Pros and sliced them up into 5 pieces. I knew stuff like this isnt covered in warranties cuz it was my own fault, but I called their...- seniorfuzzy

Found a real good deal on Monster Turbines, but are they legit?
Thought so. After looking at the page a bit more, noticed that the description was that for the golds, and even the bottom says it contains a pair of golds. If they are trying to scam people, they could at least make sure their info is consistant.- seniorfuzzy

Title says it all, check these out. http://www.apexcell.com/monster-turbine-pro-professional-inear-earphone-copper-edition-speakers%C2%99-p-8800.html Somehow, these MTP Coppers, normally 400 I think, are being sold for 80, and it says regular price is 110ish. I believe that if...- seniorfuzzy

Tryin to choose a good portable headphone/iem, help me out?
So I had a thread in the Full-size board and realized I'm better off going for a portable rig, so now I'm here lookin for more help. Right now, I have a budget of 250$ to spend. The HD-25 1-IIs look appealing, though albeit not visually. Any other recommendations, IEMS or HPs? Or any...- seniorfuzzy

Help me pick a new set of phones?
Thanks for the response! Any recommendations on the amp? Or is the Fiio 5 good on the dual option? Honestly, I'm open to either getting 2 separate headphones or 1 dual-purpose, but I'm more partial to getting 1 headphone for all. I'd guess my budget would run something around 100 on...- seniorfuzzy
