i have the ibasso d12 dac/amp and p4 amp which im finding a bit hard edged and non-relaxing. I wonder what alternative portables are out there in the same sort of price range that would give a more sweet and softer edge but full body sound?

i just tried the westone 4r and i really like its lush thick sweet sound.  But i find them uncomfortable, fiddly. Also i would like a bit more bass extension and a little less thump. Any suggestions in an alternative.
