Has anyone ordered any of the Xiaomi Pistons off eBay?  I'm curious to see if anyone has tried the original version, which I assume is without beryllium and see if it really makes that significant of a difference.

I would just like to say after my right eat on the SHE3580 died out, I decided to go with the SHE9700 and so far it reminds me exactly of the 3580s except the width of the soundstage is more open imo.   I can't wait to hear what they will be like after some intense burn in

  Whoa up to par with the VSD1? That's pretty amazing.   How do you feel about these compared to the SHE357/8/90s, or the MP8320s, or even the MH1s? Sounds like these will be the new kings of value, time to lay a preorder down :)

My trusty SHE3570s finally died out and I need a recommendation for a new go to IEM.   Based on my price range, I've narrowed it down to the Sony MH1C, LG Quadbeat, Dunu Trident, JVC HA-FX40, and the Sony MDR-EX300. I do enjoy a good V-shaped sound signature, but I can't stand poor...

Damnit, S400 is roughly $30 from Amazon USA but because I'm in Canada, they won't ship to me. eBay is roughly $45. I hate Canadian shipping prices :( Anyone know any other places that sell the S400/500?

I am still amazed at how great this sounds especially once you factor in the price.   I like these as much as I like my M9 and M6, and I'm going to try out different tips to see if they could be even better.

How does the FX40 compare to the Monoprice MP8320 or 8323s?

Any thoughts on the SR850 vs the Panasonic RP-HTF600 and/or the Monoprice MP8323? Everyone claims to be the best budget champion/value/deal and I'm sure you can't go wrong with any but if anyone has any thoughts it'd be appreciated

Yeah I've always wondered if a sound card had a significant improvement over the onboard on a motherboard too.   And wouldn't it be a better investment to get better headphones?
