I just purchased an I-River IMP 500 Slimx CD, MP3, WMA and ASF music file player. WHy? because my Sony D-25 died ( ) and I could not find anyone or any shop to repair it! The sound quality from the supplied senheiser ear buds is remarkable! Anyone else have I-River products?

I there anyone who does repairs on Sony D-25. If I can't get this fixed, I may have to buy an I-river Slimx 450 or 550.

Isn't one of the strong arguments for the comfort and quality of Etymotics is they don't press on the ear but are in ear coupling the ear canal and the transducer? It would follow that the reason ksc-35's are "amazingly comfortable" (no I haven't tried a pair) is because they hang uncoupled...
