I see a lot of posts favoring the Sony D25 (which I was not able to find on eBay

) and the Pana CT570, but having spent $90 a few months ago for my DFJ61, I really don't want to spend another $80 on the Panasonic. Could you PCDP buffs tell me what, if anything, is wrong with the Sony J61 compared to the D25 and the CT570? And is it enough of a difference to warrant spending more cash to change things??

I've been a high end audiophile for 30+ years or so.
I was looking for the "best" PCD and considered the FJ61.

I read the posts about the Sony D-25s and I remebered seeing the black D-25 years ago.

OK, I called Silicon Salvage and got one. Got the RS power supply and this player is everything and more than I expected. Clan clear and colorless.

Anyone who is looking for the "best" at the lowest price (player $45, power supply 25, and a battery and manual 45) the D-25 is worth it!!
