Going Wireless! Sennheiser Momentum 2 On-Ear vs. Beats Solo 3

Does anyone else have any direct experience with these two headphones?  I see the Momentums have been re-branded as the "HD-1" as of yesterday, presumably for legal reasons.   I'm leaning toward the Beats due to the compatibility with Apple devices.  I've read numerous complaints on the...

Sennheiser HD 1 Wireless (Effectively Sennheiser Momentum 3.0) Release Thread

I'm in the market for new wireless headphones and was seriously considering the Momentum 2 on-ears.  It took me a minute today to figure out why my links to Sennheiser's website kept directing me to this new "HD-1" headphone and not the Momentum.    Sorry to hear they are not an upgraded...

Going Wireless! Sennheiser Momentum 2 On-Ear vs. Beats Solo 3

The Sony 100ABNs are gradually dropping out of consideration and my focus is now on the Beats Solo 3 vs the Sennheiser M2 OEBT.   Can anyone offer a direct comparison of these, particularly on how they perform with Apple products (iPhone & MacBook)?   Thanks!

Going Wireless! Sennheiser Momentum 2 On-Ear vs. Beats Solo 3

Thanks. I saw Tyll's review on the Beats, which persuaded me to consider them. I'll check out the wall of fame.

Going Wireless! Sennheiser Momentum 2 On-Ear vs. Beats Solo 3

Thanks for the reply. The Definitive Technology phones are going to be out of my budget and also look to be a bit larger profile than what I am looking for.  And yes, the killer battery life and range of the Beats is a big selling point.   Between the Sennheiser M2 OEBT and Beats Solo 3 I am...

Going Wireless! Sennheiser Momentum 2 On-Ear vs. Beats Solo 3

I'm in the market for my first set of wireless headphones and the choice is down to the Sennheiser Momentum On-ear Wireless M2 OEBT ($230) and the Beats Solo 3 ($250 at Amazon).  I listen to rock, blues and classical.  I am firmly entrenched in the Apple ecosystem with an iPhone 6 and 2016 12"...

Looking to upgrade from Sony V6 for un-amped Macbook/iPhone source

If I go with an amp, it will have to be a portable.  I don't have a dedicated place in the house to listen or set my laptop, so I often end up sitting in a char or laying on the bed.  I'd prefer not to use an amp, if possible, even knowing I am giving up some potential improvement in...

Looking to upgrade from Sony V6 for un-amped Macbook/iPhone source

I listen directly from my MacBook and iPhone 4.  I don't use an outboard amp/DAC, and for various reasons don't want to go down that path at the moment.   I'm using Sony V6s and they are doing the job, but I'd like to upgrade to something better for at-home listening.  I'm considering either...
