Suggestions for Hip-Hop IEMs - up to £400 - that arnt the IE8s

Quote:   Hi there. My problems with the IE8 isn't the sound - the sounded damn near perfect to my ears, however, within the 1.5 years I owned them, they broke on me. I didn't treat them rough, I kept them in there case at all times when I wasn't using them. So reliability is my worry...

Suggestions for Hip-Hop IEMs - up to £400 - that arnt the IE8s

Hello.   I like Hip-Hop. I am looking for IEMs (that arn't the IE8s, bad experiences with them due to unreliabilty), and that provide a substantial amount of good quality bass for Hip-Hop music.  I did not find the IE8s overally bassy at all, so the more bass the better. I have up to...

    Headphones, between £100-£200, for Hip-Hop

I had some Sennheiser IE8s...but, maybe I was too agressive with them, they were incredibly delicate. I had two pairs and they both broke in the same way (an ear bud stopped playing music). So I'm now looking for alternatives in the form of Full Headphones.

    Headphones, between £100-£200, for Hip-Hop

Looking for some headphones, that I can use in the Uni library, and that can pump some good low ends for my Hip-Hop needs (Roots, 2Pac, Kanye West etc).   Got £100-200 to spend (which I guess is about $175-$275 (ish). Any help would be appreciated!

    Shure SE420s VS Sennheiser IE8s

Thanks guys. Just bought the IE8s. Even though there not burnt in yet, they sound infinitely better than the shures for hip-hop.   Bring on some beats!

    Shure SE420s VS Sennheiser IE8s

Would custom ear tips improve the sound isolation?   I willing to spend a fair amount of money, for a long term solution.

    Shure SE420s VS Sennheiser IE8s

How about their sound isolation? Will they isolate the sound like the Shures do?

    Shure SE420s VS Sennheiser IE8s

Right, My 420s recently broke, and Shure has replaced them with a brand new boxed pair - (Very good customer service...UK that is).   Now the question is, do I sell these, and get the IE8s. I mainly listen to Hip-hop (Wu-Tang, 2Pac, NWA, The Roots). The IE8s are about £20 more expensive, and...

SE530s cable problem - Is it fixed?

Having read numerous reviews about the 530s being excellent headphones, the one thing that always seems to let them down is durability.   Could someone tell me if this problem has been fixed/ackknolegded by shure?   Cheers!

    IEMs - About £250 ($370) to spend

So, after my Shure 420s started to break on me, I've sent them back to Shure, and they are replacing them. I plan on selling these off, and buying some nice new headphones with the money.   I'm very much a Hip-Hop head (Roots, Wu-Tang, NWA) so quite bass heavy - but no so heavy that it...
