Mine started getting the green tint very early on too. But has not gotten any worse; my old ears hear no degradation of sound. The green tint is on 20-25% of the gold wire. I have not noticed any stiffness; but keep earphones/cables circled (looped) in a circular case. Love the sound of these...

Doesn't the new FiiO M11 Plus LTD offer that function? I wonder if the M15, which I own, using a much older Android system keeps it from being 'okay'd' for use with Apple music. Or might it still be offered before the M17 comes out? It would be nice, but not crucial for me.

I have the M15 which I really like (and the M11 not the pro model) would this be considered a step up from the M15? I thought nothing was coming out till the end of summer- M17? I hate to spend the money, disabled and funds limited, and find out another player coming out. This really looks good...
