Also,   I think over the ear headphones to my head in general are going to hurt like any pressure on the side of my head feels uncomfortable.   To me these feel like sombody is hurting there finger on my head.   I'm going to try the ATH-AD700 first.

OMG   I love you so much!!!!!   My AD700's are actually comfortbale now loose but I don't play on doing jumping jacks or trying to head bang! (Becuase when I do that I tend to smack my head on the desk and plus you look like a retard doing it)   It's not hurting now :)

Can somebody recommend some good pads for the ATH-A700's these hurt my ears a bit.   Or can you tell me how to "break in" the pad? If that's even possible they seem soft but stiff on my ear if that makes sense.   Regards,

Azuntech Prelude. Omega Striker 7.1(That's within your budget) I'm not sure if your using a amp to power your ATH-A700's, but there 64Ohm and you'd want something that has high impedance on it. The Azuntech I bet is your best choice. It'll make those baby's sound nice. Regards, TrentH
