As I mentioned in my first post, I have used WASAPI and ASIO thus far. If Pax 1.60 and Creative Beta May 2011 both have the problem, I should give the Feb official driver a shot. I'll report back later.

So far just lossless, no MP3 that I can remember. No specific track. Only used Audio Creation so far, bit matched. Default buffer, the drivers are May 2011 Creative beta and Pax Titanium HD 1.60 drivers.   Quote:

I've looked at the Audiotrak Prodigy HD2 and it looks like there is very little support for games with that card. Would I be able to, say, use the Prodigy for music playback only and then use on-board for games? I think that's possible, but not 100% sure.

I've never heard either, nor do I have enough experience to know what I prefer. I guess which ever one is better for classic heavy metal and lots of gaming. Thanks.

Would an all in one dac/amp combo like this be good with the HA-RX900? Audiomagus - high end not high priced audio products Or would it be 'overkill'? I would gladly check out the Qinpu 2 since it looks good but I would need a DAC also for my setup. Thanks again.

Well, I haven't noticed any EAX options in any of my recent games, one of which is indeed Fallout 3. I play new and older games. I am guessing the Xonar is a little better for games because of being able to at least emulate some eax functions?

Why would a reviewer of the Omega Claro Halo card say it's a "poor value" for gaming? Does that just mean it's over priced?
