FIRST IMPRESSIONS: NEW Nuforce uDAC-2 with 24/96 - USB DAC AMP with line out and S/PDIF out
Hi, Is there an issue with the uDac-2 and the Grados full size headphones? after playing for a while the uDac-2 warms up pretty much and happens with several different PCs. I sent several emails to Nuforce with no response, so maybe someone here can give some insight. Dan- daniloreyes

What is the most comfortable headphones you've worn?
+1 The bose AE1 are really confy, not the best sound though. The Sennheiser closed HD are confy but make you sweat. The Grados SR with small open pads (sr225 etc ) suck, and the PS1000 weights a ton, while the Grado GS1000 are really confy.- daniloreyes

So here I add a disclaimer: if by any reason something similar has been posted, sorry but I have not read all previous posts on this forum, although I did search on all Grado mods posts that I...- daniloreyes

Grados "Punch Mod" better than Quarter Mod
True, its just a marketing statement :) I was exited to do something new ... However I can make it larger than a quarter, also it keeps some of the pading in between the ear and the headphone, I can make different designs (round, square, star), I can use an insert with wild colors. I...- daniloreyes

Grados "Punch Mod" better than Quarter Mod
Hi, I have created a new modification for the Grados. I call it the Grado "Punch Mod". After trying the Quarter Mod, I thought leaving some material on the middle and it will be more confortable, so instead of removing the whole quarter size material, I just used a...- daniloreyes

Sennheiser 558 or Grado sr80i
I have the SR80i and a friend has the HD600. The 600 has more treble and the 80 has way better base. If you dislike the sennheiser treble, go for the Grados. No contest. Oh, the 600 were about $100 more expensive FYI.- daniloreyes
