For those who get sweaty ears every now and then, what’s the best way to clean the earcups on these headphones?- Bassheadd

Oh okay. Well either way the 660s2 are 10/10 for comfort. Even right out of the box, there was very little clamping force on my head compared to say the Momentum 3 which I had to use for a week for it to break in first before they were comfoy.- Bassheadd

The 660s2 seem larger. They're larger than my Momentum 3 cups but a bit smaller than my HD598.- Bassheadd

I’m glad the earcups are noticeably larger on the 660s2. I gave the 650 a try last December in the store and didn’t like the small earcups. Was worried the 660s2 would have the same size cups but they’re much larger.- Bassheadd

Thanks, I figured 50 hours should be safe. I am playing it louder now but the first 20 hours I kept the volume on low just to be safe. At the start I played mostly vocals and songs with a lot of instrumentals, then I got into music with more bass as I put on more hours. I just started playing...- Bassheadd

Since this is a 660s2 thread, I figured it would be the best place to ask it. How many hours of music playback did you put on before you really noticed your headphones to sound fully open and at its max potential? Just curious. One review said 40 hours. I may give it 50 hours before I crank it...- Bassheadd

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
My new 2 day old HD660s2. Got 20 hours on them now and they’ve really opened up since out of the box. These cans are magical wow. Just blown away by the detail.- Bassheadd

Thanks. This makes sense now. Never had a 300ohm headphone before but these 660s2’s are magical going into 20 hours now of playback. They have really opened up now and I’m expecting them to open up even more as I get to 40 hours playback on it. Sites have said 40 hours is a good length of time...- Bassheadd

Yes I adjusted the gain on my amp, seems fine now. Have put on about 18 hours so far of music playback. Hovering between 60-75 on the volume knob on all the songs so far that I've thrown at it. Seems normal I think. From what I see my C-200 amp has low gain and high gain, I have it on high gain...- Bassheadd

I'm using the S.M.S.L C-200 amp. Just got the amp last week. I was told this amp is powerful enough to run the 660s2. Im finding the volume to be loud enough but i have to turn the amp a bit higher compared to what I was running the volume at with my Momentum 3's. With a lot of songs with this...- Bassheadd

Is there no way to adjust the headphones volume right from the cans themselves? That's too bad. I find the overall volume to be a bit lower than my Momentum 3s. Yes I'm using them with an amp too. Right out of the box, these are so comfy. Wow. I may not even put them on a block for 2 days to...- Bassheadd

I just ordered these headphones as I got it for $550CAD, brand new with 2 year warranty, on sale for a few days here in Canada. So excited. Been wanting these since release. Just been waiting for a sale. I don't think I'll find a better price on these cans in the summer, so I jumped on them now...- Bassheadd

Sony WH-1000XM4 discussion and reviews
I just ordered a pair on Amazong and it will be here tomorrow. But then I hear about the headbands still cracking like taco shells. Has anyone tried bending their XM4 upwards, in the complete opposite direction (like do a complete 180) to see if this problem has been fixed or did Sony re-use...- Bassheadd

My friends told me that headphones/IEMs are a waste of money
Too many people these days have become materialistic and live their lives based on name brands and labels. It all starts with their car, then their clothing, then their drinks. It's quite pathetic really.- Bassheadd

My friends told me that headphones/IEMs are a waste of money
The designer clothes I agree with you 100% on. The days of me spending $80-100 on a shirt or pair of pants are over. Don't get me wrong, I still have some very nice clothing but I only wear it when I have to (which is almost never) and they're 4+ years old. Most of my clothes that I wear on...- Bassheadd

I don't know a single person today who is into portable audio. Each and everyone of them are fully happy with the stock systems that came with their phones. Everything from iphones to Nexus to Galaxies. They asked me why I would spend money on headphones/IEMs when pretty much every phone today...- Bassheadd

SONY NWZ-A10 Series
I ended up deciding this yesterday. Puckered up and paid the big bucks for a double din in the car and will keep the A17 for work. Get the best of both worlds. Not so much wear and tear but just it gets tedious when you do it plug in and unplug 2-3 times a day during the week. Ideally, this is why I want to have a DAP to keep in the car 24,7. Would love to have two A17s but Im trying to justify having two. Im sure people are wondering why...- Bassheadd

SONY NWZ-A10 Series
Thats what i was thinking too.to get the most use out of it,this is the way to go. But i prefer to not have to keep plugging and unplugging. Ill keep the E walkman as backup in my glove bo. For the times that i forget to bring in the A17 (which will happen...alot).- Bassheadd
