Sennheiser IE8 Impressions Thread
I don't know why people keep recommending the sony hybrids, those things are atrocious. Comfortable, yes, but the sound becomes awful; overblown, muddled and overbassy. You don't want the opening of the tips to be smaller than the opening/grill of the IE8. I use sony tips from about 11 years...- sunderland

The EQ-7 are pretty nice for metal, I find; it's an interesting sound signature. I use them when outdoors, and use IE8's inside, because the sennheisers don't isolate too well.
