Volume matched? That’s pretty high praise for a $200 dongle. Is the RU7 capable of line out? I would be curious to see if it is the DAC that you prefer. I haven’t heard the Burson, however I am no fan of most Sabre dacs.

I haven’t had any issues with them answering emails, the Bokeh is my first ZMF. It has been burning in straight for around 120 hours and although I do not have a RU7, I can say that it does sound sublime being fed from roon>yggy a2 og>mj3 balanced all the way.
