any suggestions for an upgrade or sidegrade to the 780? I like them, but I want to try something new because they aren't very comfortable (even with the beyer pads) and the highs seem a little grating. and before you ask, I'm not really interested in recabling them I want to keep my budget...

would I be correct in assuming that since the xonar essence stx has dolby headphone, that I wouldn't need the mixamp for dolby headphone gaming and pairing the stx with a mixamp would be somewhat redundant?
