need amp recomendation
I've heard the 900's are great for gaming, but the 700's are better for music. I've only heard the 700's, so I can't quote from personal experience.- Ethan215

need amp recomendation
I recently got a pair of JVC HA-RX700's and I lote them when I'm listening to a stereo, but I'm dissasified with their sound on my iPod and computer. It might be my source (I'm using a 4th Generation Nano) and I might be getting a Zune HD in the future, so I have a few questions: 1. Would I...- Ethan215

Official JVC HA-RX700 Owner's/Appreciation Thread-Only Unmodded Observations, Please!!!
I got my HARX a few days ago, and so far, I like them a lot. They're kinda tight, but that's not much of a problem. I haven't completely burned them in yet, so the base is still a little weak, but they sound better every time I listen to them. I'm a bit worried about their durability, as they...- Ethan215

Okay, thanks for the advice so far. I'm using the HA-S150 for it now, and I'm happy with it unamped, but I'm planning on getting the HA-RX700 and I'm wondering if I should get an amp when using them.Sorry for not being more specific earlier.- Ethan215

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this
So, if I'm ripping a CD to my computer for use on a PMP, then I should use WAV? EDIT: Never mind, I just looked it up and found out that the Zune 120 can't play WAV files. So here's another question-What type of file would sound better on a Zune, MP3 or WMA?- Ethan215

But which sound file sounds better...MP3 or WAV? I've heard a lot of people say they sound the same, but I figured I'd ask you guys because you're the experts. If this is the wrong place, feel free to move it.- Ethan215

Which one of these should I buy?
Thanks for the help so far. I've heard that the RX900's are cooler and more comfortable, but the RX700 has better isolation. What is the RX900 isolation like compared to the HA-S150? Also, what amp shoud I get? I'm thinking of a Fiio E5. EDIT: Nevermind about the RX900 comparision. I've...- Ethan215

JVC "flats" HA S150 BN headphones, another low end price review.
I just bought them, and I give them a 8.9 out of 10. My only complaint is that the left earpad makes clicking-type noises when I adjust them. Other than them, they're great- Ethan215

HAS150A isolation
I'm going on a car trip to Minnesota in a few weeks and I'm looking for a good pair of headphones. I've heard the JVC HAS150A Flats have great sound, but bad isolation. I don't want super noise-canceling, just something that I'll still be able to hear clearly in a Dodge Caravan is the volume is...- Ethan215

Good headphones for iPod for under $40
The only headphones I have is a Koss KPH/6 I got for five bucks at WalMart. They're not that bad, but I want something that has clearer, brighter sound and better isolation, but for under $40. I'm using an iPod Nano 4G.- Ethan215
