Coaxial/Optical converter cables
I have an M-Audio C02 converter that I want to use between my Imac and my dac. I have no idea how to hook it up. I think I need 2 cables, one from my Imac into the converter, and from the converter to my Dac. Can someone tell me what cables I need, and do I need to spend a lot of money on them...- william campbell

RPX-33- Regular version or Ultrasone Version
I am about to purchase a Rudistor RPX-33 amp. Rudistor says they can make me the special version that was made for the Ultrasone Edition 9s. What is the difference? Both hardware and sonic? I am using a Resolution Audio Opus 21 CDP. Thanks.- william campbell

Should I match a "Wet" source with a "Wet" amp
This is an excerpt from a review of the source: It's got a slightly wet texture that's quite different from the drier, somewhat more cerebral sound of the Ensemble. The treble in particular deserves mention for completely lacking that peculiar and stand-offish dry, thin and somewhat chalky...- william campbell

Should I match a "Wet" source with a "Wet" amp
I am putting a system together and have picked out components that are supposed to be truly great by themselves. I want to make sure they are truly great together. Both the amp and source I have chosen are said to be on the "Wet" side, but in a good way. Will these sound good together?- william campbell

Beta22 Ultrasone Edition 9 Synergy?
Do these work well together? I mean, I am looking for THEE amp (solid state) that will drive these headphones. I was about to purchase a Rudistor RPX-33 because it seems to be THEE amp for the Edition 9s. But is the Beta better (single ended with active ground. The Beta will cost $1800 (built)...- william campbell

Rudistor NX-33 vs RPX-33
I would like to know if an NX-33 amp in balanced mode is better than an RPX-33 when using Ultrasone Edition 9 headphones. The NX-33 is discontinued, but if it will be better, I will get one used. Thanks for any help.- william campbell

Do headphones matter when choosing a source?
How important is it to consider headphones when choosing a source? I am planning on purchasing a Rudistor RPX-33 to go with my Ultrasone Edition 9 phones. I am seriously considering a Resolution Audio Opus 21 CD player. This is supposed to have real synergy. But I also plan on purchasing...- william campbell

Which Ultrasones are the Punchiest?
Between HFI and the Pro line , which Ultrasones have the hardest hitting drum sound? Not necessarily deep bass, but hard hitting impact? I am interested in the Pro 900, but am concerned that their deep bass may take away from some midrange punch. I like the sound of drums when I attend a...- william campbell
