As compared to say the D7000 which is not great or the DT770 (with leather pads) which is great at isolation.   Also, how does bass slam compare to the DT770/600- Skylab might chime in here please, I think you own both?

I find the Pro650 a fine headphone for the money- detailed, not overly bright with detailed and present bass. Just missing some midrange presence. What Ultrasone gives more midrange that's under $400 or so (used)? I tried the Pro900 and it did not agree with me (Kees mod included).
