Headamp Blue Hawaii Special Edition
Sorry to hear about your trouble. Hoping it is just a fuse issue and you are back up and running very soon. I can probably breathe without oxygen for a while, but not my music so I feel for you :) Post back about your issue / resolution if you get a chance.- shaizada

Post A Photograph Of Your Turntable
The table actually is setup for 2 arms with 2 matching purple pods. I have a Schroder Reference arm in a separate arm pod that I might use as a third arm. It all balances visually as 4 pods around the turntable. The DC motor can also be thought of as a pod in a way.- shaizada

Pictures Of Your High End System II (Same Rules Apply)
Funny you mention the V12 :) I was using that first and sold it in a weak moment! The one in the picture you see is the V20...more appropriately suited to that system. I miss my V12....I'll pick one up one day. Right now, I have no where to hook it up....it will just sit around which...- shaizada

The Bomber (RSA B52 Devastation)
You seem to have your bases covered pretty well with all the amps :) Now, understand that the Senn's seem to really benefit when run balanced. I don't know, but they do. If you would be interested in a RSA Raptor, I have a friend who could be convinced to part with his (he is heavy into...- shaizada

The Bomber (RSA B52 Devastation)
This is really not the amp for IEMs. Frankly, the Apache or other amps out there would be better suited for IEM's. If you have the RP010b, then keep that for the IEMs. If the off chance you like Sennheisers (600, 650, 800), this amp is a god sent for them. Grado's are not the right headphone...- shaizada

Post A Photograph Of Your Turntable
This is the Townshend Rock 7 turntable. It has a dampening trough that goes over the record which is filled with silicone. Then a paddle extension attached to the tonearm makes contact with this silicone through the record playback and dampens all the vibrations at the headshell source. Very...- shaizada

Chord Hugo big brother : Chord QBD 76 HDSD
I MIGHT be willing to let go of my Black QBD76HDSD. Send me an offer and I just might part with it...I'm thinking of investing into my end of life turntable and having some funds together for it might just edge me towards placing an order.- shaizada

The Bomber (RSA B52 Devastation)
Though this thread is so many years old, I feel I should mention that this is one piece of gear that I STILL own! I went through so much equipment since and this B-52 is STILL relevant to my headphone listening. We don't hear much from Ray anymore around these parts, but hats off to you sir...- shaizada

Gustard U12 USB Interface 8 Core XMOS chip
I haven't been able to comb through this long thread about this "feature", but I think I remember someone asking if the U12 outputs simultaneously through multiple digital outputs. I can confirm that the Gustard U12 does output an AES and SPDIF Coax digital signal simultaneously to two...- shaizada

Chord Hugo big brother : Chord QBD 76 HDSD
Great writeup guys! Earlier, I've been hearing all this talk about the Hugo being better than the QBD76. I thought, maybe its possible. I had to check it out for myself. When I finally did a side by side between the Hugo and the QBD76HDSD, I thought people are going deaf! I would have...- shaizada

Chord Hugo big brother : Chord QBD 76 HDSD
Completely agree Bonesy! Thanks for posting....I share the EXACT same opinion. Using the QBD76HDSD version which I have, the Hugo was excellent in comparison, but not in the same ballpark as the QBD via balanced output. I've been curious to use a Chord Blue Transport. Currently using a...- shaizada

Chord Hugo big brother : Chord QBD 76 HDSD
I am pretty sure the single ended outputs were used in the test above for both dacs (I could be wrong). The Chord Hugo is RCA single ended output only. In a fully balanced system using the Chord QBD76HDSD Balanced Outputs, the Chord Hugo was simply lesser sounding. Anyhow, this JUST shows...- shaizada

AudioValve LUMINARE & VERTO : for Stax headphones and for all dynamic headphones
After moving through the headphone world, it naturally led me back into the speaker world but with a much better sense of what I wanted. I've heard the Wilson Alexandria Series 2, Wilson XLF with top of the line VTL electronics, Dan A'gostino and Jadis electonics. Couldn't be more varied in...- shaizada
