SONY NW-ZX100
I have the uncapped zx100, and purchased the matching nc earphones. The noise cancelling is adequate, but I rarely use the earphones, since the sound quality out of them is average. Unless you work in a noisy environment, I wouldn't bother with them.- dlbernau

Comply makes some tips for it, which I tried. They stay in my ear ok, but significantly degrade the sound unfortunately.- dlbernau

Apparently Etymotic will issue a credit of around $100 if you trade in your HF3 on a new er4xr/sr. Anyone have any experience doing this?- dlbernau

Shure SE215 or Etymotic HF3? Opinions Please
I have both and prefer the Etys for their clarity and accuracy. I mainly listen top female vocals tho. For rock and anything bass heavy the Shures are probably a better choice. Good luck!- dlbernau

Turbine Pro Warranty - Is it transferable?
Personally I would return them to Amazon for a new pair, and then sell them. Monster products are notorious for poor build quality, and you will get a much better price for a NIB pair. I believe the warranty is transferable. I sold a pair of Golds I had, and I know the buyer has returned them...- dlbernau

Klipsch Image X10 for $94 (usually $350)!!
Quote: X2 on the amping these from my perspective. I bought a Fiio E11 a few months ago, and dutifully tried it with my collection of iem's. In the end it seemed like a waste of $65, and I put it in my (already crowded) drawer. I ordered the triple fi's and the x10's during the...- dlbernau

Custom IEM (cable) for iPhone w/mic & volume control
I'm with you on the necessity of remote controls when using an iPhone, or any recent apple product. Digging my phone out to change tracks/volume seems so 1998 to me. Here are a couple ideas for you. 1. I recently bought this upgrade cable from ebay. It apparently has the standard apple...- dlbernau
