Do you think audiophiles have a much deeper appreciation of music than the general public?
Quote: I think an audiophile would bare bad music if sonically its interesting. Music drives the soul not the ears. Take the general public, I think they would accept anything as long as they can hear the song. An audiophile could care less what song it is, but more so how its received.- myunclesnephew

Is this weird?????????
Okay so I'm heading home from class when I realize that I listen to my music differently in my car then I do at home. In the car I like bass, I'm talking beats by dre bass, but at home I want detail. I put on my Sennheisers with no equalizer, no added bass. I think that's weird because I think...- myunclesnephew

Sennheiser HD380
Well lucky for me I have a large head. They sound more precise than the 280 to me. The bass is right on the money as well.- myunclesnephew

Sennheiser HD380
Quote: I actually have both but I didn't try to pull the HD380 off in the event that it doesn't go back on . I've never heard of anyone modifying these cans. Replace? they have different sounds and purposes. Edit - Oh you just said that.- myunclesnephew

Sennheiser HD380
Are the HD380 ear cups replaceable? I would rather have velour pads that are on the HD558? Is it the same technology?- myunclesnephew

Most overrated headphones?
I actually enjoyed the mids. I didn't like the veil of unnecessary bass. It had average highs and no sound stage.- myunclesnephew

Downloading Flac Files? To do or not to do?
How can you punish the end user and not the up loader? I can't download it if it does not exist. Again if I can't find the music in the STORE. I will download it. When is the last time someone went to jail for downloading music.- myunclesnephew

Downloading Flac Files? To do or not to do?
I just downloaded a few albums that are supposed to encoded in Flac. Here's the thing how do I know someone didn't take an MP3 and convert it to Flac which means I downloaded a huge MP3 file for nothing. Is it wise to download in Flac? Most of my CD's I've already re-ripped. Is there a way you...- myunclesnephew

No once you get going. I opened them up and poked holes into the grill until I could get a grip and start pulling. I pulled around the cup and it came off nice and easy. The sound is incredible it really opens them up. I probably lost a few db's in the sub bass but I have other headphones for...- myunclesnephew

I read somewhere on here that you could remove the lining on these headphones to open them up even more. I've already did the mod, so I'm wondering if its possible to open these up even more? Without the extremeness of the above post. I still have yet to find a suitable amp, or better yet is it...- myunclesnephew
