NEW HiBy R4
Just wondering if anyone has tried their R4 for bluetooth or usb dac duty. I am in progress of writing my thoughts on the unit and before dinging it for latency issues I wanted to check if I had missed a setting to improve the latency when in use in these modes.- ListenerM

It took weeks of listening for these to grow on me, now its really the only set I use. Coming up on a year of ownership and constant daily listening here soon!- ListenerM

Schiit Jotunheim 2 - Impressions Thread
I think the Pietus is my favorite out of the bunch at the moment. Brings the same high level of playback that you get with the Jot 2 but with the additional NITSCH magic. Wish it came balanced but I don't want to even think about what that price tag would come in at. Love them both for their own...- ListenerM

Schiit Jotunheim 2 - Impressions Thread
Recently went from a Modius E + Magnius stack to Modius E + Jot 2 and I am head over heels for this amp. Running the HE6se V2 off of it daily with plenty of bass and low end extension. Staging is significantly better and the technical performance has not been diminished. Additionally high...- ListenerM

HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama
Whats the go-to headband mod at the moment? I wanted to source a NAM-7/6 headband but have yet to find someone who might be willing to pass theirs up. Replacements are sadly no longer sold as well.- ListenerM

Have you tried Dekoni Elite Sheepskins? I have a grill modded set with sheepskins and so far am pretty dang happy with the sound without EQ. I do agree that amp can add a nice spice over the top.- ListenerM

I would not say they are overly recessed but depending on the vocalist, it might leave you wanting for more, especially during the adjustment period from more v-shaped sets. Still recommend this set highly based on its non-standard tuning and overall technical performance. I feel like we are...- ListenerM

Sure, just like other sets compete with much more expensive IEMs. Again these are my thoughts, and there is no obligation for us to agree. I will stand by my opinion in thinking they could have been priced more competitively given the current market offerings. Notice no demerits for tech or...- ListenerM

Review by 'ListenerM' on item 'DUNU Studio SA6 MK2'
A preface: I was not provided this set, much like all of my reviews, these thoughts are my own and I welcome you to disagree with them as we all have different ears and preferences. I have owned these for about a week now and here are my short impressions: Sound: This is a set that really does...- ListenerM

The discovery thread!
Primarily comparing with the Yume since it’s a set I know very well and is an example of good tonal performance. Where the BA’s fall short on this set they make up for with good technicalities however I have yet to figure out how to eliminate the stuffiness.- ListenerM

The discovery thread!
I’m 2 days in on my set and the resolution of the BA’s is sub optimal. Vocals come across crunchy at times. Otherwise they are fantastic but a little “stuffy”. Had they been $150 or $175 with a better controlled bass presentation and higher quality BA’s they’d instantly take over $100-200 range...- ListenerM
