I went with soundmagic PL-30 since ljokerl refers to those in just about every entry in that huge thread comparing them all.   just listening to them now (since my birthday isnt til tomorrow) and wow. really. wow.   happy wearing them upright instead of hanging down, no microphonincs...

someone has recommended me the sony ex510s - what say you lot?

Hi. Some might remember me. I'm the very picky lady from the UK who settled happily on Bose AE2 for specifically comfort reasons.  (and they sound great after burn-in).   I'm looking for some IEMs to replace the ones that came with my phone. Just something for the school run, for my tablet...

Sorry, but this audiophile loves my Bose AE2, because of COMFORT more than anything else.   And anyone who says they have no bass needs to come try mine. Put on Moves Like Jagger and you'll see, they have *plenty* of bass. Its *amazing* what burn-in can do.

My Bose AE2 are perfect.

so burn in is really real, and not just a myth?   i just cleaned the leather with leather balm we use on our sofas. Is that sad?   i am rather ashamed to admit they were actually dirty from sweat!

...I cannot believe how much more bass there is than when i first bought them.   Not that i felt the bass was low, but it was perhaps a bit, understated maybe? Now it feels leveled out, even across the board, very smooth and laid back but at the same time very much *present and correct* iykwim.

still rocking my bose ae2s. and i swear they're getting better? sweated up and worn in and definitely well used. seriously they sound better?
