IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
I would say the opus Mia takes the position being the strongest performer currently among the IMR lineup and it definitely slams hard on the bass/sub bass department, at least compares to the Rah and PB1. Great news is that they are available to order as well.- danniao

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
Was it like a low voltage electric shock while you are listening to the iems? I had such an experience feels like there’s a continuous electricity leakage causing a stinging sensation from the metal shells of the iems and it’s a $150-200 chi-fi iem I bought maybe 2-3 years ago. I have never...- danniao

IMR Acoustics EDP (Every Day Planar)
Yes, Opus Mia definitely Fits more flush to the ears than the other two. When I put opus in one ear and Rah in the other at the same time, the small vent cap of the opus probably has similar intrusion compared to the Rah body, but the main body of Opus is thinner and fits more flush to the ears...- danniao

IMR Acoustics EDP (Every Day Planar)
Now after some closer examinations I’m convinced they are indeed the same shell. I thought pb1 was a tiny bit smaller earlier but that looks rather my misperception due to different colors. See the pictures I took. Not sure why you experienced differences in fitting- it could be due to different...- danniao

IMR Acoustics EDP (Every Day Planar)
Always thought the pb1 shares exactly the same shell with Rah just different colors. Then I was shocked hearing you say the Rah has a terrible fit but pb1 fits like a glove, until I hold both in my hands comparing them side by side and realized that pb1’s shell is actually smaller LOL- danniao

IMR R3 Halcyon, R3 Phase, R3 Semper - Discussion / Impressions Thread
I would love to own every single new IEMs from IMR after owning R1, Aten, Rah, PB1 (and Opus Mia was just delivered today and Semper later!) That's how much I like the sound signature/build quality/value Bob provides in his IEMs, but I think I'll pass this time on the PB2 and I'd like to give...- danniao

IMR R3 Halcyon, R3 Phase, R3 Semper - Discussion / Impressions Thread
Just placed order for both Mia and Semper... Still waiting for my PB1 to arrive (got stuck in Miami USPS for more than a week). For about the same price I paid for my EE Legend X, I got/will get 4 IMRs - Rah, PB1, Mia, and Semper. That's a fantastic value in my book, especially considering ever...- danniao

Owning the Rah has not made me dislike my EE LX yet, but I certainly do not like LX more than the Rah... and for $350 if this is not a steal I don’t know what is. I have placed my order of the PB1 earlier today just to steal more LOL- danniao

IMR RAH - Discussion / Impressions Thread
you guys have to stop this...besides R2 and Rah I bought the EELX and the wm1a ... I can’t stop thinking I agree with what you and others just said about Rah and now thinking about buying the PB one just for the hack of it- such unbelievable steals we have with Bob’s IEMs! But seriously I don’t...- danniao

IMR RAH - Discussion / Impressions Thread
Got my Rahs delivered the day after Christmas Day. So far absolutely love it! The sound is expansive with huge sound stage. Signature IMR bass plus beautiful mids and high - no more metallic highs that was very much an issue with R1 and at a lesser extent but still present with Aten... lots of...- danniao

Hakuzen, thanks so much. What a tremendous effort you have done for the head-fi community! I have already bought a few cables based on your recommendations and now ready for the top cable in your list: 175. One question for you, in this link, two 8-wire cables are listed under the options. They...- danniao

SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A
That must be true! I’m actually a cable believer... a couple of years ago when I first got my pure silver and a copper Liz cables from Norne audio I was shocked with the difference I heard! I don’t think i’ll ever spend 1000s in a cable though- too rich for my blood. Been enjoying some of the...- danniao

SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A
My new WM1A arrived yesterday! Been using my LPG for almost 3 years-getting a little bored and wanted to try something different... after going through a couple of hundreds of pages of this thread pulled trigger on the 1A. What a beautifully machined player! So far enjoying the sound of it...- danniao

IMR R2 Aten Thread
I have R1 and have been burning in and listening to R2 since I received it on Monday. Compared to R1 (which I really like), R2 is apparently smoother and tonally more natural. Female vocals (and male vocals too) sound very nice on these. The bass is monstrous, sound stage is huge like everyone...- danniao
