ATH W5000 vs ATH W1000Z
The to hedphones share the same (Audio Technica), the driver 53 mm on borh. The burning question are they the cup Are they the same 'design? The only difference is one W1000Z is teak while W5000 is ebony. What praytell is acousitic value of one type versus the other?- ThePirate

Earpad mod ATH WS55
I managed to have an extra set earpads namely HP WS99 and I noticed they fit WS55 in my possession, I made the switch. Talk about luck! Got imroved clarity and comfort.
