This is for the Phillips SHL5605GY/26. Patience advised, first review.
The first impression is that is an honest headphone. For the price, it is sounds good. I'm now curious about the Fidelio X1, L1,and M1 versions.
Soundstage Not a strong suite.
Sound
Bass It's there and distinct, you hear it.
Mids A distinct prescenes
Treble Also very noticeable.
I strongly suspect there is bump in frequency in the upper mids, lower trebles
Overall I would rate them as decent. My only other experiece with headphones is ATH-M50s which beat the Phillips on soundstage and prescence. I have my sights on Beyer 880 or Custom Ones, some Senneisers like HD558s,or the what would be considered audiophile headphones
