Koss KSC75's. Dont Forget This Giant Killer in all the ''Hidden Gem'' Hype.
Personally, I prefer the stock pads. The Yaxis pads are comfortable but a little thicker/denser and muffle the sound a bit. Also if you get two colors (like blue & red for L & R) don't let them rest touching or the colors will bleed into each other. I use a pair on my KPH30i phones.- thebluebulk

Yes, I have several pairs and they all have trouble with loud or impactful bass. Currently listening to Pink Floyd Echoes KSC75 with partsexpress headband. magical. :smile_phones:- thebluebulk

Sprota Pro headphones speakers are black like KSC 35's and they are cheaper than Porta Pros. Ill have to look into the replacement speakers on eBay.- thebluebulk

REVIEW: Koss KTXPRO1....an awesome portable headphone!
To my ears the KTXPRO1s sound very similar to the KSC-75's and KPH30is sound very similar to Porta Pros. On my head KPH30is are more comfortable than Porta Pros and my KSC-75'S with parts express head band are way more comfortable that the KTXPRO1s but I have big head. I like them all and keep...- thebluebulk

REVIEW: Koss KTXPRO1....an awesome portable headphone!
My KTX Pro1 phones sounded great. They were just incredible uncomfortable (probably due to my big head) i never could get them to lay flat on my ears. I should have held on to them and modified/swapped out the head band.- thebluebulk

REVIEW: Koss KTXPRO1....an awesome portable headphone!
If they released a version with the KSC-75 drivers I'd buy them too. To my ears the KSC-75's sound more balanced and flat. These do sound very similar to the PortaPro but with less sparkle. I kinda like the beige. Reminds me of computers from the early 90's.- thebluebulk

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before so bare with me. The other night I was listening to my KZ-ZST's and noticed a slightly tubular sound in the higher frequencies. I tried a little trick I used on my other iems. I just pushed the tip down as far as it would go bringing the grill...- thebluebulk

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
My HD650s sound great connected directly to my Sansa clip but my phone barely has enough power to drive them. They really shine when connected to my FiiO E10K DAC. Just my 2¢- thebluebulk

OK sat down and did a little better comparison between the ED12 and ZS3. I like the response curve of the ED12. To my ears it seems to be a little flatter but can't even compete when it comes to soundstage. The bass heavy ZS3's have a great soundstage but the bass while clean is just too much...- thebluebulk

I agree bass and mid bass heavy. Not enough sparkle for me. Position does affect the sound quite a bit.- thebluebulk

Knowledge Zenith (KZ) impressions thread
Recently received my new pair of ED12's. Plugged them into my phone and gave them a listen but my first impressions were not good at all. They sounded overly warm with harsh sibilance. This is not what I expected reading everyone's impressions. So I plugged them into my FiiO E10K USB headphone...- thebluebulk

Sansa Clip+ Impressions
A while back I broke the clip off of my clip+ (making it a Sansa+?) Anyway I've become accustomed to just carrying the now thinner Sansa+ in my pocket. only problem is when I want to pull it out. I usually end up pulling out my headphones and having to dig in my pocket to fish it out (sucks if...- thebluebulk

Sansa Clip+ Impressions
My wife bought my black 8GB sansa clip years ago mainly because it was small and had good capacity and expandability. OK you did give me a great idea though. I just turned around one the connectors (reversing the polarity in one ear) and it fixed the sound WOW they do sound great! KZ quality control must suck. One earbud is wired out of phase. Ive never experienced this before with any headphone!- thebluebulk
