Epsilon 22 backplate board for 3-channel Beta 22 amp
The Transaudios you mention are speakers, not headphones, right? You should be looking at building a speaker power amp instead, How about the β24? https://www.amb.org/audio/beta24/- amb

AMB is temporarily down
Dear friends, Amb.org is currently down due to a problem at the ISP. Unfortunately it is taking a long time for them to fix it. I’m very upset that it has taken so long without resolution, and it appears that it will be down for maybe another several days. The level of service I’m receiving...- amb

Where are all of the builders?
You are all welcome to participate at the AMB DIY audio forum too. Even if you're not building an AMB project. We do have a "General DIY Discussions" subforum and an "Audio Talk" subforum. While the AMB forum is where I develop and support my projects, it was never intended to be only that. It...- amb

AMB κDCX fully-differential analog board for Behringer DCX2496 and DCX2496LE
This is not headphone-related, but if you're also into speaker-fi, and interested in a bi-amp or tri-amp setup, you might want to check this out. I have just finished developing an upgrade analog board for the Behringer DCX2496 and DCX2496LE DSP loudspeaker management systems. For full info...- amb

Where are all of the builders?
LOL, no. I was "gone" long before that blogger guy appeared. There was a major exodus back to headwize around the 2005-2006 time frame, when the atmosphere in this forum got real hostile (thanks to a former moderator who is no longer with us). I created the AMB DIY audio forum back in early...- amb

AMB Sigma 78 and Sigma 79
If you have gear that uses the 78xx and/or 79xx series voltage regulator in TO-220 packages, and ultra low noise and high PSRR are important, then it is a candidate for upgrading to the σ78 /σ79. σ78 and σ79 (as supplied with regulator chip pre-soldered): A fully-populated σ78 (minus the...- amb

The Beta 22 Thread
It's a Chinese fake, not based on genuine boards, and most likely uses inferior parts. Also, that big power transformer situated so close to the amp boards will surely cause magnetic interference.- amb

San Jose, CA Local Head-Fi Meet - January 30th at Alum Rock Library Event Room
They are DIY designs, so you can't just "buy one". You have to build it, or find someone to do it for you. The total cost could vary a lot, depending on configuration, parts selection and chassis selection/custom work involved. I can't really quote a price. But the γ3 and β22 are premium...- amb

Best DIY Dac (Late 2015 edition)
The impressive performance is not due to one thing alone. Every little bit helps. In the γ3 no corners were cut. The whole really is the sum of its parts... plus a lot of care in its implementation.- amb
