So it was, sorry - I skim read. But it's the best way - on my device, in sleep mode, the battery drains FAR FAR slower than if I start it up everytime and the database upgrade routine happens. Bizarre, but true!- DanMUC

I think after a while they definitely would annoy you if you would be moving about a lot. Mine don't really clamp very tight and if I bend down to pick something up they tend to travel a bit as well. Perhaps try the Focal Classic - this had very good clamping but felt a little too hard for...- DanMUC

It's in stock on amazon de via a 3rd party seller. 279 eur - same price I paid. Last night using my better than average JBL Synchros 200i IEMs I fell asleep listening to Bonobo with volume on 2/100. Sound was so good even at that level. I love this machine.- DanMUC

Without wanting to blame you (!), I ordered this cable on the back of your post but now that it's arrived and been unpacked to the point where the packaging is of course destroyed and probably unreturnable, I found that I cannot use this cable with my MM 400s as the jack won't fit - being...- DanMUC

So I was initially being snobby and loading up flac files (my CDs ripped with Nero) only, but then I tried out a few mp3s too and although I haven't done a direct comparison between the formats using the same song, I have to say the sound this little player delivers is really amazing. I listened...- DanMUC
