About the same as Rognir. And it looks like the leakage depends more on ear pads - how they fit the head and what perforation type they have.

I prefer to choose two ) The superweapon of headphones compared to speakers is the ability to have a pair or more devices. In practice, before Arkona arrived, Rognir + Stealth were working in my headphones system. Now I think it will be Rognir + Arkona. And for a very long time, it wasn't just...

So, impressions about Kennerton Arkona. I started listening and mostly listened with leather ear pads – with perforations, more depth than on previous Kennerton headphones. Soft and comfortable, despite the massiveness of the headphones (heavier in comparison with Rognir), it is very comfortable...

While the review about the sound is in progress, a few photos about the history of my Arkona. The only thing missing - a photo of original tree in the forest )

Paper-based planar drivers (probably unique for today's market)

Lately I've been using mostly closed back headphones + monitor speakers. So little of interest in open back headphones now

They have some Kennerton frendly overall goodness in common, but different sound signature. Not upgrade or downgrade - different branch. More details to come a bit later, not a fan of fast conclusions.

For now they understand, that Rognir is unique and do not plan to close Rognir with rerease of Arkona, leaving question "flagship" or not aside for Rognir vs Arkona.

I also listened a bit new open-back headphones (I didn’t look at the name, not shure with right spelling - Vinneta). First try with velour ear pads. The sound signature is noticeably lighter than Arkona, but without losing punch in the low end. The mids are more open, clean and clear. HF is more...

Today I attended Moscow Hi-End Show to get acquainted with Arkona, my first impressions were very positive. I listened it first a little on vinyl, then in more detail on digital system (Violectric DAC+amp). They react very sensitively to changes in source system. So, the impressions from the...

On this chart in "dark" I mean more recessed treble than bass volume. I.e. Fostex 900 still "light" for me, nevertheless they're definitely bass heavy. And as I know there are more than one revision of Wodan, on chart - aluminium driver version.

Without tube = bass heavy version. If you have bass heavy version with bass heavy pads, that could mean too much bass obviously, non-bass-heavy pads worth trying ) But if you listen Thror and Rognir in short session and overall not for long I would recommend to stay with one of them for about a...

Rognir Dynamic. The very first words about the main thing. I listen to headphones all the time since their arrival as the main and only ones. And with the exception of the first days - without the desire to switch to something else, on the contrary, with understanding - if tomorrow I move to a...

Сomparison to the Abyss. Text next to arrow - comparison of the corresponding headphones. Kennertons make new models too fast, little chance to catch up them with careful listening ) So no experience with Novel yet.

And by the way, couple of photos. Colour of these Rognir Dynamic have chameleon behavior. First photo - in direct bright light, second photo - usual ambient light. They also have some pearl-like gloss effect, that can not be seen in photo.
