Meze 12 Vs 1More Triple Driver, which one is better and why?
Hi, So I've heard good things about both but never seen them compared with each other. If I were to buy one based on Detailed Sound, Some Sub Bass, Wide Soundstage which one should I look at? I already have a Fiio E06, and planning on getting a Fiio Q1 soon, so will have a source other than...- Dhruv

Dedicated DAC vs Audio Interface?
Hey, I know you've probably made your decision, but honestly don't go making mistakes like giving up the focusrite just because of the drive issue. I use a beyer of dt990 pros rated at 250ohms just fine with my scarlet. I've heard that the fiio doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the...- Dhruv

Monoprice isn't available in my country. I live in India and the ones I mentioned in the post are the ONLY ones available at that price. For a lot more money I can get Audioengine (300$ converted from rupees) and after that I'm looking at extremely expensive A5+, Yamahas, or Adams, or...- Dhruv

Denon AH-D510
do that, but just a little advice do invest in a reasonably priced portable amp as well, it does make a difference, at least it does to my ear. I use a fiio e6. Also let these burn in for 20 or more hours as the treble is a bit harsh straight out of the box.- Dhruv

yeah these definitely aren't portable. But they are very comfy. I wear them for hours at a stretch, the only minor flaw as far as the comfort goes is that the earpads are synthetic so it can get quite sweaty after sometime. However I'd you can get the velour pads that are made for the akg 440...- Dhruv

Looking for near audiophile headphone, Audio Technica, Denon or Panasonic?
Oh crap I didn't reply :p I got the sr850. Initially the treble was a little too harsh for me but its gotten smoothed out by now. Bass is a little weak on a flat eq, but being mixing headphones I'd expect that. But the area where this pair really shines is the soundstage. My god the soundstage...- Dhruv

Thanks for the reply :), Can you give me just a little overview of what I can expect from them? Seeing the reviews i'm leaning towards them, but just wanted to know whether they are as uncomfortable as people spell them out to be? Also I see that you have Beyers, can you tell me how these...- Dhruv

No :( would have loved to get those after going through all the reviews unfortunately they are double the price of all the ones i've mentioned. Perhaps because creative has stopped selling them retail in the country the one or two websites that offer them have priced them very steeply...- Dhruv

Hi, Good Review. I wanted to know one thing, is the soundstage really very bad? I'm looking for phones that will work well with jazz and provide reasonable spacing between instruments so that I can enjoy the violin and the sax a lot more. My last pair were the HD 202 and I was looking towards...- Dhruv

Looking for near audiophile headphone, Audio Technica, Denon or Panasonic?
So after going through everything available (not many brands are available here in India) in my price range (4200 Rs. that would be about 70$), I have come up with the following list. Now I am looking for something with very good midrange, wide sound stage and clear sound. Also I own a Fiio E6...- Dhruv

Can headphone amps like Fiio E06 help me with this problem?
Quote: JBL Tempo J04. Yeah I do get similar distortion because the bass is a little too boomy, the problem isn't repeated with my sony zx300. And on my phone I do, i dont on the laptop (Acer Aspire One, technically a netbook but you know whatever). Thats what I wanted to know do amps tend...- Dhruv

Can headphone amps like Fiio E06 help me with this problem?
So I've been reading quite a few reviews stating how magical amps are but now I bought a pair of JBL headphones and they are good but crank up the volume and the bass does tend to overpower the other frequencies and sometimes even tends to distort a bit, now will an amp like the Fiio E06 (the...- Dhruv

Eisenhower You prove yourself first cuz no matter how bad you think they are they definitely aren't 1/10 star headphones. I'll give you 1/10 star headphones(actually skull candy's prettty much win in the 1/10 star segment) So why don't you give an actual legitimate review after using some studio...- Dhruv

Eisenhower HD 600s have been noted for bass alot of times so just realise that you are a bass happy person, if something doesn't have alot of bass it doesn't mean it's bad, it just means you didn't like it because there is no bass. I have seen the same review of your for 280 pro, and I happen to...- Dhruv

Ohhhhh.... Looks like someone bought Studio Monitors instead of casual earphones. And by going in deep it means they have to go an almost as much as a cotton earbud, and if one tip doesn't work try another. If they still don't sound good it means you weren't looking for studio monitors in the...- Dhruv
