Little Dot Tube Amps: Vacuum Tube Rolling Guide
I don't think it's worth using 12A?7 tubes as outputs but your ears your gears. In order to use one at 6.3V you need to join pins 4&5 together and use pin 9 as the other heater connection. This would require an adapter (commercial or DIY) to use them as outputs.- TrollDragon

Best gaming controller
These came from Amazon ($11) or you can order them from the manufacturer for $1.50 each they sell them in 2, 10 and 50 qty. I just didn't want to wait a month or more for them to arrive. I'm mobile now so I don't have the mfg link but there is a video on YouTube where a guy (Metal Plastic or...- TrollDragon

Sony is not going to warranty the controller replacement this time, so I've ordered a pair of these to put in. Should be a fun install.- TrollDragon

I have many pairs of Brainwavz HM5 pads, they work perfectly on my Ultrasone HFI-780 and German Maestro GMP8.300 D Pro. The fit is very sloppy on the 99 Classics and that bothers my OCD. ;)- TrollDragon

It's $150 CAD from them, the $45US shipping and poor Canadian dollar value makes them unfeasible but worth a try.- TrollDragon

I'd love to try the Dekoni pads on my 99 Classic but $160CAD is a little too steep.- TrollDragon

Are you a console or PC gamer?
Received a Miyoo Mini Plus from my daughter at Christmas and been having a ton of fun with it. Tossed the stock 64GB card in the trash (pure junk), installed a Samsung EVO 128 GB, Onion OS and the Tiny Best Sets. Now I'm looking at handhelds from Retroid, Anbernic and AYN... 😂- TrollDragon

Little Dot Tube Amps: Vacuum Tube Rolling Guide
My first guess would be the 3 feet of wire connecting the tube that's causing the hum. 😉- TrollDragon

Vaping leaves a film on things, but it's not anywhere as bad as tobacco smoke tar. So it's really all up to you. I can't see it hurting stuff, but I've never fogged out a room without some sort of ventilation going.- TrollDragon

Dug out a blast from the past, the good old HohmTech Slice. Anyone remember this and the Hohm Wrecker G2? They were the only mods that could Temperature Control any wire and they actually did a very good job at it once you got the settings all tweaked and tuned.- TrollDragon

Since your not feeding into a DC power amp you should be fine. I would do as mordy suggests and resolder the pins on that tube.- TrollDragon

Little Dot Tube Amps: Vacuum Tube Rolling Guide
I never plug my headphones in before turning it on, it is an OTL amplifier it doesn't need a load like transformer amps do. I power on the MK IV, let it warm up for 5 minutes then plug my headphones in. Increase the volume from zero and enjoy. When tuning the amp off I set the volume back to...- TrollDragon
