I don't know what headphones you used, or your settings and source (streaming, etc.), but with my headphones and IEMs (LSA Diamond, Monarch Mk. 3, EVO…).

No tube crackling on my SP2000T, just an almost imperceptible hiss with very sensitive items.

Jude, Please do a deeper dive on timbres, a bit on how it's measured, and MDAQS scores that critical data point. The lack of “subjective” measurements of how a headphone performs in reproducing timbres is one of the reasons measurements have low value in my personal evaluation of headphones...

I’m loving mine as well, much more than the R8, AK180, and the N6ii. The tube mix makes a huge difference, to my ears, I love being able to customize the sound with various headphones or music.

I’m finding the EVO and the Monarch III to complimentary, combined with the AK 2000T, it’s a slice of audiophile heaven.

The 2000T is an incredible match, soundstage that rivals over ears, and a wide variety of tube mix options to tune the sound to the genre listened too.

If you can, try them with the AK 2000T, the Mk.III love the tube mix!
