I really appreciate your reviews! The way you focus on musicality is brilliant. Since I mainly listen to classical music, would you say these are also suitable for that genre? I purchased the Artti 10 based on your recommendation, and they've been excellent for classical music. Many thanks!- yoowan

Earbuds Round-Up
Earbuds, iems, dac/amp (dongles), cables… The rabbit hole is indeed very deep. Concerning Newbsound. I’ve put on donut foams to attenuate the bass slightly. At the moment I prefer listening to them with my Fiio BTR5. The Fiio is strangely more musical with these buds than my technically more...- yoowan

Earbuds Round-Up
After reading the many positive reviews of newbsound 32pro I’ve placed an order with @irv003 and received the earbuds last week. I must say I’m very impressed after listening to them extensively. These are amazing earbuds. They’re full and natural sounding with the best bass I have ever heard in...- yoowan

The discovery thread!
I have to chime in on the NX7. To my ears it's a fantastic iem. I'm 49 years old so maybe this so called piercing treble can no longer bother my 'older' ears. NX7 has great textured bass and very good separation. The soundstage might indeed be small but the placement of instruments is very good...- yoowan

FiiO’s Upgraded Bluetooth Amplifier BTR1K: Qualcomm QCC 3005 BT chip, BT 5.0 and aptX /aptX LL/AAC supported, RGB light, NFC pairing, Type C and USB DAC
Vsonic's GR07 Classic is also marvelous with BTR1. I'm starting to think that Lenovo Vibe X3 even with a dedicated dac, really sounds inferior. GR07 has never sounded this good. So now I have with Pinnacle P1 two iems that got a new life.- yoowan

Brainwavz Audio B400 4-Way Quad Driver 3D Printed IEM
I still think GR07 is a very able earphone but as far as I'm concerned it's no competition for B400.- yoowan

Radsone EarStudio ES100
Volume on the phone is at max, volume on the amp (and that's Fiio's BTR1, will buy ES100 as soon as it's available in Europe) is on a moderate volume depending the iem. I only use Pinnacle P1 with the BTR1. P1 is a notoriously difficult iem to drive (impedance 50ohm sensitivity 96dB) but the...- yoowan

Radsone EarStudio ES100
Maybe it's not hiss I'm experiencing but rather static-like sound artefacts and they're rather caused by the sensitivity of the iem as I further tested with other iems. Brainwavz B400 impedance: 30ohm sensitivity 115db : The first notes of the Spotify track 5 are drowned in 'hiss' and sound...- yoowan

Thanks for testing with your gear. And you made me discover there is now a 'quiet' option in 'Normalize volume'. Has been switched off for years as I didn't like it then. I'll test this option again now because it's convenient to have more or less the same volume when switching genres. Doesn't...- yoowan

Radsone EarStudio ES100
That's great news. With the BTR1 I'm constantly changing volumes on my smartphone and the device. Very annoying. That won't be necessary on the ES100. Pinnacle P1 is in fact the only iem that passes the test. Vsonic VSDS3 (an old favorite of mine that I still use) of Hifiman RE400 do also hiss...- yoowan

Radsone EarStudio ES100
I do like Fiio's BTR1 a lot (it's great with my Pinnacle P1) but it has two problems. 1. Volume differences between steps are too big. Does ES100 have better volume control? 2. Higher sensitive iems do tend to hiss and sometimes quieter notes can no longer be heard. If somebody could test the...- yoowan
