I just ordered a Burson ha-160 to replace my M-stage as my bedtime amplifier. I hope a get a signifiant difference, otherwise the m-stage can stack up to a 800$ amplifier

Other idea would be to replace the ipod by another 'portable' source ( pretty much anything that ain't a laptop or computer) and that i could chnage song while being half asleep. I'd prefer if  it bypass the internal amp so i can use the matrix m-stage (rca or usb dac... no sure it'S great)  ...

Hi there,   i'm only using my ipod in my bed setup with consist of a matrix m-stage powering a hd650 set. I'm using a good quality  ipod dock out to rca to transfer the signal between the ipod and the amp   I'd like to invest into a DAC but i'll still be using my ipod as my bedtime media...

I've had like 30min of A/B testing with the hd650 and i thought they were pretty similar without comparing them side to side but they aren't that much similar.     First i'm not sure if this is normal but the px100-II bass on my unit really has arkward problem It bleed alot in the lower...

  I got them yesterday and maybe I had 5 hours of listening so far. They sound great, honestly they do sound quite similar to hd650. I'll be able to a/b them once the px100-II will be burned... I'm pretty sure i'll be quite impress   The bass is already better extension than the modified...

I just tried the stock opamp since i had the amp with the 627 already installed and the difference is quite big. The stock one make the music less dynamics imo.   I ordered a LM4562, but until i get it i'll be putting the 627 back for sure :)
