Yamaha YH-4000
Yes, they are interchangeable because they share the same mounting mechanism, but from the pictures, the YH-4000 pads' surface area appears to be slightly wider than the stock YH-5000SE pads. It could be the camera angle, I'm not too sure- voja

Yamaha YH-4000
I don't recall seeing such a clear photo of the YH-4000 ear-pads, and it tells so much! Can you confirm whether they are indeed wider than the stock YH-5000SE pads? It would be interesting to find out how the YH-4000 sounds with YH-5000SE's ear-pads. Also, for those that want to learn about the...- voja

Review by 'voja' on item 'Tanchjim Origin'
Unboxing Experience One thing that I like about Tanchjim is that it has a universal packaging design across all its products. Disclaimer: Tanchjim reached out to me and asked whether I'd be interested in reviewing the Origin. Due to a busy schedule, I requested to receive monetary...- voja

Kaldas Olympia / $999 Flagship Open-Back Electrostat from India
I still can’t shake the grin that spreads across my face every time I see what Aumkar Chandan is up to. Just weeks away from turning 28, he has already built a legacy that few ever achieve in a lifetime. I honestly feel privileged to be around at the same time as this young light of our...- voja

Recommend me one new heaphone...
You already have the DX340, why not get iBasso's SR3? It has a more mature (less exaggerated) sound profile than the SR2, and it punches significantly over its MSRP. Considering you are located in China, you should be able to get a pair for a great deal.- voja

Ibasso SR2...... 🍀 🇺🇸...here 😳
The SR2 is still my favorite headphone! I've been blessed enough as an author to listen to some very fine headphones. For me, the SR2 is unbeatable for its price. It's this hidden gem that feels almost exclusive to this community. Writing the SR2 and SR3 reviews has given me so much joy, but...- voja

Hi-Res Portable DAPs comparison chart 2022
I don't want to trash this thread, but why was it a nightmare? I have the standard DX320, and at least software-wise, it's inferior to the DX300. I'm on old FW on DX300, never had the need to update as the performance was so good. I think iBasso took care of some software issues with FW updates...- voja

Hi-Res Portable DAPs comparison chart 2022
I don't know how other manufacturers' DAPs are behaving, but I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with iBasso's DX340. I've been using it regularly for a few months now, and the UI and software are flawless [in terms of smoothness]. What I mean by this is no lag, no touch input problems, no...- voja

Exclusive First Listen: Experience Yamaha’s Unreleased Head-Fi Models! YH-4000 headphones and YH-C3000 headphones
And there is also a physical loudness limitation due to distortion of the driver. I'm expecting this to be gone with the YH-C3000, but whether it's possible to eliminate it on their Orthodynamic drivers, I'm not too sure. Do you suggest Yamaha releases a pair of headphones that's harder to...- voja

Exclusive First Listen: Experience Yamaha’s Unreleased Head-Fi Models! YH-4000 headphones and YH-C3000 headphones
Thanks for the kind words 😊! I do my best to be of service to the community. As for the resonant material, it must be the limitation of machine translation. I got that information from the first video (the longer one). I thought it made make sense, as Yamaha implemented resonance into the...- voja

Exclusive First Listen: Experience Yamaha’s Unreleased Head-Fi Models! YH-4000 headphones and YH-C3000 headphones
I've managed to dig out some new information about the HA-3000A. In all honesty, I'm still regularly searching for news about the YH-4000, YH-C3000, and HA-3000A... same routine I had when the YH-5000SE and the HA-L7A were first announced. Before sharing that, I encourage you to re-visit...- voja
