Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Did a quick demo with some of my favorite songs. The Khan was really good and does well bringing out the details. The only con I have was the way vocal high sound harsh when it went pass a certain pitch. I will have to demo it again with more tracks to confirm.- tm.chen

Will you say the mids are not as full bodied as the Katana? Khan < Katana < Encore- tm.chen

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
How would you compare the Khan vs the Katana/Encore? I just tried both earlier and I really like both for different reasons. Katana: clean sound and clear highs. Decent amount of bass. The mids aren’t recessed or veiled which is my preference as i preferred to feel closer Encore: more...- tm.chen

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Piezo? Would this be the same as electro static tweeters. Pardon my ignorance but I recently tried Jomo’s new Trinity and it was really wonderful. The Khan has a similar configuration and if is anything like the encore and katana. This might just be my next iem at a friendlier price point.- tm.chen

$999 Calyx M with DXD + DSD, 64GB + SD + µSD storage
Sorry guys. I don't have the gear nor time to do a detailed comparison. Forgot to add: The volume slider takes effort to adjust but it is not impossible to accidentally turn it to full blast. So please take care. Fine tuning volume can be a hit or miss. There is a lag in reaction and the amount...- tm.chen

$999 Calyx M with DXD + DSD, 64GB + SD + µSD storage
Finally got my grubby hands on a demo set. The unit is hefty, about the size of samsung S3 and nearly twice as thick. Initial impressions after going through a few DSD songs. Billy Jean, Hotel California, Piano Man etc. IEMs I borrowed the store's TG334. Warm sound qualities. Not too warm...- tm.chen

New Custom-to-Universal IEMs: InEar StageDiver 2/3
I would recommend SD3 with the additional bass. SD2 is an all rounder which I would like for pop.- tm.chen

LOL. You pay for quality. There is the B stock from Thomann's but that is still about 800sgd considering the outrageous shipping charges.- tm.chen

The Astell & Kern AK120
clean out the mp3 tags and only use 1 version. I used to have songs with tags in different versions. itunes would read the latest but the AK reads the older incomplete version.- tm.chen
