Okay, that's a possibility. Although I am using the preferred USB port on my Mac (potentially better sounding). Which to me, outweighs any worry about being bitperfect at 24/352 or 24/384. But I appreciate the suggestion.

Thanks so much Paul for the link. So the DAC must support Integer Mode. Audirvana bypasses CoreAudio and "reenables the buried Integer Mode", according to the FAQs. BitPerfect uses CoreAudio.

Thanks Paul. I wonder why they include the 16 bit files? Also, setting the computer to 44.1/24 seems inconsequential, because Audirvana is just going to change it on the fly anyway, to what's needed.

I've had the DAC-V1 running continuously for about 24 hours. I'm quite quite disappointed so far. I'm using a brand new MacBook, Audirvana Plus, A Nait XS, and Naim speakers. I'll give it more time to break in.
