Interesting, I own the M1060's and LCD 2F's (2017) and find the LCD'S to be much better sounding overall. Better separation, more air, better controlled bass and more forward mid's. But everything is subjective depending on music genre preferences, equipment differences even hearing differences...

I own both the LCD X and the LCD 2F's (2017). I love them both and would be hard pressed to give up either of them. However, with the current price of the LCD X'S I would go with them. They have a more refined and nuanced sound imo. But if you can get both, you won't regret it.

I have not heard the Sony 900st's but I understand they have somewhat of a cult following in Japan. I don't have a problem with the X's weight. I have had LCD 2F's for awhile so I guess I got used to Audeze's weight. I am going to get a set of Mrspeakers Aeon closed in the near future.
