Last I heard from NuForce the HDP has been delayed yet again until the end of December. If the reviews the new UDAC is getting then the HDP will be worth waiting for.

I know that the ICON HDP release date has been pushed back. Anyone have credible information on the actual release date? I've been postponing a new desktop DAC purchase pending a look at this product.

I haven't' noticed any hiss or imbalance at all using Etymotics, Shure IEM's, Grado 60's, or HD-600's. The D4 is very good and I continue to be impressed by what it's capable of at a relatively modest cost.

The UPS Tracking info I received suggests the origin point for Ibasso is SHENZHEN, China.

I ordered a D4 from Ibasso yesterday, received the tracking confirmation today and expect delivery by Friday. They use UPS Wordwide Saver service which quotes transit time China to U.S. two to three business days. They accept PayPal so you don't even need to expose your CC info if you wish.
