Yes I bought it from yahoo auctions japan.   Can I use the amplifier without the transformer for right now, or will it cause damage? It sounds fine as it is. I just hope it's not shortening the life.

They don't sell that one.   Your answer wasn't very clear. Do I need a step up transformer? Will it harm the am if I don't use one? Also which side would I plug the amp into?

I think they are rated even higher than the ad2000's on a website. I'll try to find it. 

They are much lighter and smaller than you would imagine. They surround the whole ear, but they sit on it rather than cupping. Hence the sweating. After a few minutes you feel as though there is nothing on your head. The build quality is not that of the lambdas, but what it lacks in high grade...

Considering the price and sound quality, I'd say but them, then visit the doctor and convince him to buy a pair as well. These just might be the cure for cancer.
